This charming ruin is the initial idea for the deign of this contemporary country house. By using the old walls for the smaller part of the building, where the guest rooms have been allocated, the new building complex hosts a open space apartment for our clients and a private studio for their son.

In oder to face the sea, the new build ( to the right ) has been rotated to the south with its big glass curtain wall. The precise calculated  roof overhangs provide solar gains in the winter and shade during the summer. The pool is going to be build as a bio pool and the roof terrace will be the hot spot of the house, providing the very best sea views.

The use of ecological building materials and renewable energies turn this old ruin into a sustainable Eco Home.
